AIDS Walk New York Sets Record
Posted by Sandra Sims on May 23, 2007 under AIDS / HIV, Athletic Events, Causes, Walk-A-Thons |Last week I was in New York City, but just missed the 22nd Annual AIDS Walk New York which was on Sunday. It was a record setter too, the largest and most successful AIDS Walk ever held. Event organizers announced that 45,000 walkers helped to raise a grand total of $6,857,527. Yes that is close to 7 million dollars.
AIDS Walk New York benefits GMHC and more than 50 other local AIDS organizations.
