Extreme Goals Require Focus, Determination

Biggest Loser UK Contestants (After losing all the weight!)On Saturday the Fox Reality Channel had a marathon of the Biggest Loser UK. At one point one of the trainers or participants said that they were working out 5 hours a day. 5 HOURS! Now that is either dedicated or just plain crazy. I suppose it wouldn’t be such an impressive show if they didn’t go extreme. I only watched episodes 2 & 3. (yes I do have other things to do in life LOL). But one of the contestants had already lost 28 pounds. In three weeks! On the other hand several of the contestants had lost just 1 or 2 pounds a week.

Most goals, including weight loss or training for a marathon, do require dedication. But you shouldn’t have to make it your full time job. Goals can be planned for success so that you can still go on with life.

One of the advantages of joining an organized charity training program is that they provide a schedule so that you can work your training into your daily life. Most programs also have a group training on the weekend that’s pretty much mandatory. Yea, you might have to get up earlier in the morning, but it can be done.

How far would you go to reach an extreme goal?
