It’s National Ice Cream Month: Have an Ice Cream Fundraiser for Your Charity run or walk

Ben & Jerry's Ice CreamA Canadian team sells shakes and smoothies to raise funds in advance of the 2008 Weekend to End Breast Cancer which will be in early September.

Carol at Dollar Philanthropy describes a fun ice cream social you can do at work to raise funds.

Anne Lynn is a lung cancer survivor and team captain for the Lance Armstrong Foundation’s cycling event, 24 Hours of Booty, to be held in Charlotte, North Carolina. She’s partnering with her local Cold Stone Creamery to raise funds.

Ben & Jerry’s retail shops have a “benefit nights” fundraising program. It offers a percentage back to your group when your volunteers scoop ice cream and advertise to bring in customers on that night. Participation varies by location so contact your local shop for more information.

There are several other formats for ice cream event fundraisers that you could use to raise funds.

Hi- Thanks for the shout out. I just found it. It is still hot here in GA so Ice Cream is indeed a treat at at the going rate of $3 a cup— you can raise some serious funds.
