Minnesota Jingle Bell Run/Walk Event To Be Held on Saturday, December 8th
Posted by Abigail Beal on Nov 23, 2007 under 5 Ks, Arthritis, Athletic Events, Causes, Running, Walking |The Jingle Bell Run/Walk event will be held in Duluth, Minnesota at the University of Minnesota on Saturday, December 8th. The Jingle Bell Run/Walk benefits the Arthritis Foundation. This is the perfect way to kick off the holidays with a fun athletic event while raising funds for arthritis.
Participants are all given tiny jingle bells to tie to their sneakers, so that the cheerful sounds of “jingle, jingle” fill the air as the event takes place. It is truly a festive and fun time for everyone. Many participants decide to come in holiday-themed (sometimes silly too) costumes to add to the fun. Funds are raised through entry fees and participants raising pledges.
Jingle Bell Run/Walk events are held across the U.S.A. through November and December. Visit here to see if there is an event near you.
