“Breast cancer is no respecter of any individual. Sometime in our life, it has most likely touched the heart of each of us through the diagnosis of a beloved family member, a friend, or an acquaintance. The Broyhill team has been impacted due to the diagnosis of some of our very own team members over the years and the fight for life has taken place right before our very eyes,” said Marc Carpenter, vice president of human resources with Broyhill. “Our company-wide campaign for the Passionately Pink for the Cure™ walk was very successful, and I am so proud of our team for participating and supporting this very worthy cause.”
The walk raised $4,533 to benefit Susan G. Komen for the Cure’s Passionately Pink for the Cure.
