Road ID, why you need this.
I love stuff. I love running shoes and shorts and cycling socks and bikes. I love the gadgets and the magazines. My affinity has caused my husband no end of grief, if for no other reason than we live in a two bedroom apartment, and there are only so many places to stash that stuff. Occasionally though, my husband is the one with the stuff, and when I first started running, one item he insisted I have was a Road ID.
I know I’m as careful as I can possibly be, and I hope you are too, but there are some things we can’t protect against. Accidents happen. Road ID wants to help. In the event you’re involved in an accident, a Road ID can be used by passersby or medical help to get in contact with your loved ones, to know about any medical conditions, even to have access to your insurance information. Road ID is a durable, wearable, ID tag. I have a wrist strap in pink; my husband has an ankle strap in black. They also come as a shoe tag, a dog tag, and a shoe pouch, handy for holding your house or car key. I don’t leave for a run or a ride without mine. I hope I’ll never have to use it, but the peace of mind it gives me and my family is priceless.

Stay safe.

This is great Jennifer. Thanks for sharing the resource!
Hi Jennifer,
Road ID is a great product. I just became an affiliate for Road ID on my Bike Diva site. Last week another south Florida cyclist was killed by a passing motorist – YIKES! I never leave for a workout without my ID.
Lori You’re welcome! I hope you find something that works for you.
Lynn I’m so glad to hear you’re affiliated with them. They’re a fantastic company.
A cyclist was killed here in Georgia just a few weeks ago as well. Stay safe out there.
